Stupid Audience?
I in general hate horror/thriller movies because 90% of the time they have these moronic cliches that are so over played that you can see them coming from the into already, but these movies have never affected my daily life until I came across “Prom Night”.
This movie is amazing in a bad way. Basically being forced into watching it by my girl friend (Lisa) I was shocked and amazed by the level of stupidity in this movie. If you haven’t seen this movie I strongly suggest you watch it, I literally couldn’t stop laughing.
You all know about the “Mirror move”? You know, where someone turns a mirror, or closes one of those bathroom cabinets revealing someone behind them and ultimately giving you a fright… Well this movie found it necessary to use it three times, I shit you not, seeing it even once in a film is enough for me to right it off as “copy, paste, now give me my money” but three times? That is a bit ridiculous.
I could go into so much more detail about how this movie was written by idiots for idiots but I will spare you.
I have no problem with a stupid movie, just when they try to pass their stupidity off as reality is where I draw the line.
LOL haven’t seen it yet, but you’re damn right about one thing… they’re all stupid nowadays! Look, I love my horrors… I love a good scare, but I honestly can’t remember when last I actually saw a good horror, or even thriller for that matter.

I don’t even want to go to the video shop because I know I’m going to waste my money on what looked like a good movie, but turn out to be utter crap.
